As it is, building your audience goes hand in hand with cultivating your relationship with them. We all know that nobody is likely to buy something from a person before getting to know each other better first. Just because someone tells us,”Hey, I am this person, does not mean we are going to trust enough to buy. 

One thing is for sure, while some treat their audience as mere cash cows and goes about their business without knowing a single person, we cannot expect to gain loyalty which is what you earn if you treat your audience as human beings. You and your business will only benefit from that loyalty, the same way that you benefit from genuinely caring and trust. 

 

A business built on relationships is more likely to flourish and if you as the owner focuses on impact rather than income. Knowing that every person on this planet is different and every single person has his or her own thing. It pays to just speak your truth to other people without trying to sell. People respect and appreciate that. 


So, you can just treat people like cash cows. No, you can just sit here and just try to squeeze every little penny out of them. But don't expect loyalty from those people because loyalty loyalty is built on being in a relationship with someone. Loyalty is built on a friendship. Loyalty is built on something besides a dollar. No one is loyal to a dollar. But people are loyal to other people." [10:03]
